Introduction

Unlike other regression therapies in Past Life Therapy it is not necessary to believe in past lives. Instead, all that is required is an open mind and the willingness to use metaphor as a way to bring unconscious processes to light.

The regression therapy works on the basis that "the body remembers" and that our physical body today may be carrying memories of trauma from previous lives. The process uses psychodrama to enable clients to release the "unfinished business" that they may be carrying in their body, thus enabling healing to take place more quickly than with other therapies. It is a creative synthesis of Jungian active imagination, psychodrama, spiritual psychology, Shamanic healing, Reichian body therapy and transpersonal psychology.

This can be an effective way to deal with physical pains in the body that seem not to respond to other treatment. It can also deal effectively with phobias of many different sorts as well as with obsessive behaviour and with patterns of behaviour that recur throughout our life.
